T-47 Seaspeeder diorama
« on: December 03, 2014, 09:31:18 AM »
So, with everything else I have going on, I did manage to finish a rather unique view of a Snowspeeder...a conversion to an oceanic version called a seaspeeder. I kit-bashed this from a WWII floatplane and the Fine Mold's 1/48 Snowspeeder. Then I scratch-built a dock, added a resin figure and a bunch of other goodies to the scene. Here's the build log.

Enjoy

Brillant work indeed, you converted the speeder perfectly it looks like it is meant to be on the water. The rest of the dio is awesome enough on the dio to catch your eye but not to distract you 10/10.

Cool concept and great execution!
I dabble in the Star Wars Universe of Toys... I rip apart little plastic people and turn them into other plastic people. Sometimes I take pictures of them and post them.

Yep. It's a slow project so far. But I hope to make it fully lighted by the time I finish it. Check back in 2 years. I'll either be done or a mental facility.

That resin water is amazing! I'd never have thought to do it that way.
I have altered the action figure. Pray I don't alter it further.
