Bandai is coming out with a couple of 1/5000 scale Star Destroyers. One is lighted for about $125.0 the other is not for about $75. They are a little over 12" in length, half the size of the ZVEZDA/Revell Star Destroyer. I think it's cool they come with in scale Tantive IV and Millennium Falcon. They will release in August. Sign me up.

It's only for the limited edition first run lighted kit. I don't think it's necessary to getting the lighted effect. They just did it for kicks I suppose.?
