Slightly modified Rebel Tram Kit
« on: March 02, 2015, 08:05:14 AM »
I've been slowly working on my tram kit the last few months. Added some special modifications...

Loading door

Heating hoses

And swap out headlamp magnetic decals

I still have to tweak some things but I wanted to recreate one of my favorite promo photos as soon as I could.
I dabble in the Star Wars Universe of Toys... I rip apart little plastic people and turn them into other plastic people. Sometimes I take pictures of them and post them.

The kit from Hole in the Ground is resin, BenAlius. The included antenna piece is metal and the added on hoses are plastic straws.

Now I see where the dio pic came from. Awesome conversion. Great idea on those magnetic decals too. Let me go add that to the post already up there.

Do you mind if I try to build this one from wood for my #Buildingtoysformyson project?
If you don't mind, could you post some more pictures so I can see the full detail of this nice tram?

Thanks, Tamer!

I'm afraid I didn't plan my update too well. I've been doing lots of things by the seat of my pants lately LOL.

Ben, there's a Rebel Tram gallery on my Customjedi Facebook page with some progress pics and reference photos. I had wanted to scratch build the tram for a long time but just don't have the patience which is why I bought the kit. Can't wait to see what you come up with!
