Thanks!

I also got a little progress done on my post-Order 66 Imperial Forest Trooper.  Still deciding on how I want to develop the groundwork though.

Haven't posted in awhile!  Life gets complicated some times....

Here's one of my new ones!

212th Attack Battalion veteran.  Idea for the base was that this was the unit's first battle, and it occurred on a planet with substantial amounts of orange bushes which became the inspiration for the unit's color markings.

I'll post more pictures later!

Thanks!  I did a little more weathering on that forest trooper.  So, I'll get some HD pictures taken of him soon.

I like your background story for the 212th AB.
The base for the figure and the weathering is very well made.
excellent work

Well, I haven't post on these forums in a long time!  Got busy with life.  Anyway, along with posting on my Instagram, and possibly allowing my wife to start selling off pieces to make room on my shelf, I'm going to try posting here again.

This is one I finished probably a month ago?  Anyway, sometimes I create a backstory for pieces.  This is what I came up with:

"Galactic Marine of the 21st Nova Corps, several months Order 66. This particular Marine previously received airborne training at Republic military facilities on Corulag. He has upgraded his helmet with advanced optics and comms for scouting operations."

So great to see you back!

Awesome Clonetrooper. Love the helmet additions. Great lille mini-dio too. I just love your wood bases, I think it kicks it up a notch.

Off to the front pages. And welcome back!

Took the occasion to look back at all your past projects - man, that chess board! Really like this Marine, the colors you Chose and the one on your profile pic. Your custom figures and bases are always jaw dropping! Are you a member of the Marine Corps yourself? Your customs a truly elite ones, too!
So good to see you back!

Add: By the way PadawanPainter is one of the BEST understatements I've ever come across.

Thanks gentlemen!

So, I with a could take nice professional looking pictures of the board, but the thing is literally the size of a coffee table, so this is the best I can do for now.  I need to go back and hit some of the pieces with a matt varnish, as they're still shiny for my taste.  Just haven't done it because that matte varnish always alters the boldness of the colors.  And I can't remember how to get a matte effect without affecting the color boldness.  Maybe manual brush on instead of airbrushing.  I just airbrushed matte varnish on my MAC-V SOG inspired clone, and to me he looks all faded.
