Well that just looks sweet, but as I said on the front page I don't know why cool projects out of you surprise me. I think this is great Ron. Off to share.

Hi All,

WIP for a commission piece of the Bandai's Clonetrooper which the client wanted to still be articulted and painted to a 501st trooper. He also asked for a very simple base with grass etc so I did a forest floor and I still need to add some more details to it.
 
I still need to add some minor details to the helmets and weapons and then I can give it a matt spray and the take my usual pics.

It looks great. You really did a nice job on the paint too. I was sitting looking at some of my customs of yours I own and am thinking its about time I bugged you for a new one! They sure do look great and stand the test of time. Off to share this project.

Thanks heaps Shawn and I have to admit sandpaper can be your friend, it not only helped with the scratches but it also helped tone down the blue as well.

Hi All,

New project and this time around I'm using Bandai's Death troopers and this scene depicts them look for child Jyn on Lah'mu.
 I still have more weathering to do on the rocks and then make the soil a little darker once the mix dries.I also need to do a little weathering especially around the boots.

Dio is done.

Recipe

Figures - are from Bandai and built straight out of the box and I added stockings to the joints.

Base -is from the dewback kit from stannarts but at the moment his website is down. I painted the whole base matt black and then painted it with artist paint Slate. I then mixed spakfilla and sand and added black and a little white and applied to the base.

Once dry I then dry brushed the rocks with various shades of grey until I was happy with the look. I then used model railway static grass and once dry I used grass tufts from miniNatur and applied them using super glue.

Always appreciate the kind words Shawn thank you. The Rogue One logo I can't take credit for the scratch's I found it on the web as I think it looks cool.
