Wow, that already is great. I can see how cool it will be when you add the flame and smoke. Off to share this too!

Hi All,

95% done with this commission, all I have to do is let the flames dry then give the whole thing a matt finish and add gloss to the visor.

The flames were done by using Woodland scenics water effects and adding paint to the effects once it dried and the smoke is cotton wool glued in place then pastel chalks were used to give it a more realistic look.

I will get my usual pics up in the next day or two.

Cheers mate and I had the smoke whooshing around the parts but it just didn't look right so I had to add more smoke to give it a more realistic look.

This is one of a few project is for a client and she wanted half a AT-AT foot with a little bit of leg as well. As you can see I've done the base of the foot using foam board and I will be covering it with either cardboard or plastic still haven't decided yet.

Hi All,

The AT-AT foot/leg is taking shape, I have done it all so far with foam board and now will start doing the filling and sanding which should take a day or two.

Hi All,

Besides doing the AT-AT foot I amd also doing small dio's for the Local Con that is happening in June.
 
This dio will depict a Sandtrooper in front of a door, I did the frame using high denisty foam and plastic card. I covered the ground and building using a mix of sand/spakfilla and paint, I now need to paint the sand and walls and then weather both the dio and figure.

Wow Ron, I am loving that AT-AT foot. Make sure you are ready to make a second! I am guessing this is what we were gonna do the one time. It looks fantastic. Time to share both of these great projects.
