Hi All,

Another update, I have completed the wall panels and flight consoles and just need to do the centre console.

The wall panels were done buy cutting out foam core and the flight consoles are thin cardboard and they were detailed by using plasti card, 1/72, 1/35, 1/18 and 1/6 scale bits and pieces.

Once I do the centre console I will be painting the panels and consoles. I have also added to ceiling light using small LED's and powered by a 9v battery which will be hidden inside a hidden compartment.

The design of the panels and consoles are completely of the hat except for the white boarder lines.

I admit i wasnt so sure about this project at first but now just looking at those consoles i have to say i cant wait to see this bad boy finished. The console are a perfect representation of the Star Wars Imperial style. So are you going to paint the model bits too?

Oh for the pilots you could go i.m.p.s. with full armor to make it look different. However is it a shuttle to go in battle or just escort? If just an escort ROTJ shuttle pilots werent armored but im sure the personal dropships pilots are half armored lile Tie and ATAT pilots.

Thanks mate and yeah all the bits and pieces are going to be painted. This is going to be a cross between a drop shuttle and battle shuttle so armoured pilots would be suited for it.

This is great Ron! A monster to tackle for sure! Cant imagine doing this in the 6 inch scale!
Ive started working on a 1'72 scale Tydirium myself last month, lots of inaccuracies...
But ive got big planes for it.
