Wow, crazy on that shoulder armor. Guess Bandai still is the figure of choice Ron?

Gorgeous Trooper though. Man, love the yellow. Off to share on the front pages.

That pic of him setting on the log is good Ron.

I like the writing on the bucket too. Awesome. And that yellow paint that is scratched off and he looks worn.

Thanks heaps Shawn and yeah I still love the Bandai Troopers the best and this figure is second in line and the shoulder armour can be easily fixed by trimming the right one. Overall this really is a great figure.

I was a little hesitant to pose him but I was very surprised how well he can be put into poses especially the sitting done and firing poses.

Good to see you back! This guy is awesome! I like the backpack, antenna the color, everything.

Thanks heaps JD and it's great to be doing SW customs again.

I really like the design of this trooper, Ron. The paint, scratched and chipped, looks great. Nice job building the comm. unit as well. He looks good in the diorama, too. Excellent job!

Thanks so much buddy and the dio is from my Tarzan figure as I still haven't decided what type of base to give him yet.

Ron

Hi All,

Imperial Patrol speeder 1:12 WIP.
So far the speeder has been made using foam board for the main frame work and I have used soft drink lids and 1:35 scale tank parts for the intake and thrusters.

Under the speeder I have used 1:35 Maschinen Krieger hover plates and the exposed side panels are also from the Krieger kit.

Ron this is pretty fantastic. I don't know why we didn't see more of a speeder like this in the movies. It was always speeder bikes, etc. You know they would have had things like this they used on a regular basis. I am anxious to see how this turns out.

Thanks heaps Shawn and I totally agree there should have been different IMP speeders in the movies especially for Policing like the Patrol troopers were doing.

Hey JD, thanks heaps buddy and the boosters were a fluke as I was going to just glue them on but I dropped the brown section into my plastic bits draw and it actually fell into the lid LOL and the the old light bulb moment hit.

Hi All,

80% done on the speeder, I just need to add more greeblies and also add buttons/switches and do some minor sanding.

The seats were done by cutting foam board in half and then using a pencil I scribed to foam to make it look like cushion seats. The panel lines were done by using a sharp knife then scribing the lines with a pencil.

The brown parts are from two 1/35 Maschinen Krieger kits and the outer raised panel lines were done using plastic card.

This is looking so fantastic, Ron. I love the details that you are requisitioning from models. The design for this is really excellent - is this an original design from your imagination, if so then double kudos! Look forward to the finished product.

Thanks so much buddy and I looked on the net at various speeders and also concept art work and I then had a think about it and thought the patrol troopers two seaters would look a little bulky like their speeders and then just went from there.
