Incredible! The diorama turned out magnificent and the conversion of Han to a Hoth trooper is amazing.

Hi All,

Straight onto my next project and this time it will be Han on Tauntaun dio. So far I have glued and filled in the tauntaun's joints and will let dry for 8 hrs.

Hi All,

Got some work done to the Tauntaun today.

I sanded the putty and then added cotton wool to simulate the fur on the figure and once the glue dried I gave it a once over with watered down PVA glue to make it adhere to the body better.

Once the watered down glue dried I then gave it a wash of Vallejo Medium Grey,  I'll still have to darken the fur and then give it some dry brushing to bring out the separate strand of the cotton wool so it looks more like real fur.

Hi All,

I am 90% done with the Tauntaun, I gave it a wash of Vallejo Medium Grey and then dry brushed with Vallejo Light Grey and then a 50/50 mix of Vallejo Light Grey and White.  The face was repainted using Vallejo paints as were the claws/paws and nails.
