Hi All,

The pilots are complete and now secured inside the cockpit.

The pilots have had the joints super glued and then instead of putty I used plastacine as these will not be moved at all and then I covered the uniform areas with tissue paper.

The figures were given a simple job and were painted using Vallejo paints and the transfers on the left side of the helmets are from Games Workshop and the lines were firstly drawn on by using a led pencil then I painted over the pencil line.

Nice work on those pilots. off to share.

You gonna put any breathers on em? Maybe kind of like the shuttle pilots on the last version of I.M.P.S.?

Awesome but without the breathers it doesnt give a pilot vibe like we are use to....but thats a minor issue to everything else this has going for it.

Hi All,

Little more work done to the shuttle, I have attached the interior walls and the screen. I will try and get another update done before Wednesday as I'm going under the knife again on the ankle so I'll be bed bound for up to a week depending on how the surgery goes.

I don't know where my comments went. I got this on the fp yesterday, but where my comments went I know not. It is really great Ron. I am very, very excited to see where this goes.

Hey Ron I have a question on the high impact installation foam you use on some of your dios would they be able to be spray painted or will it be eaten away like regular styrofoam?

Hey mate, it depends on the paint, I have found that spray paint from Games Workshop doesn't eat it. But I have found that if you spray the foam with Testor's Dull coate matt finish it doesn't eat the foam.

If you are using foam core I cover the edges with PVA glue and once dry it acts like a cover and the foam between the cardboard doesn't get eaten.
