Hi All,

Well even more progress. Love how you save the articulation, but cover up the ugly joints. Off to share.

Thanks again Shawn and yeah I think it just makes them look more realistic with the joints covered and it a double bonus having articulation.

Hi All,

Last update for the night.

I gave the figure two coats of Matt Black to see what and where I need to sand and I am very happy with the way it looks.

Hi All,

90% complete on the figure and dio, I just need to weather everything using pastel which I do tomorrow and then I take my outdoor pics.

The was made using high density foam for the base and walls and bendy straws for the pipes. I used spakfilla for the walls and mixed a little Vallejo Light Brown in with the spakfilla and spread it over the walls.

The sand I used spakfilla/plaster/sand with a little Vallejo Desert Yellow and Pale Sand and mixed the lot together and then added it to the base. Once everything dried I then used matt black and painted the pipes then I gave it a wash of Hull Red and then a wash with Beige Brown and then a wash with a mix of orange powered pastel chalk.

The walls were washed wish a very light Medium brown then and wash of Beige Brown then dry brushed it with Pale Sand. The sand base didn't need any paint or washes as the paint that I added in the mix gives it a nice sand colour once dry.

Hi All,

The dio is complete. I used pastel chalks to add some weathering to the walls and figure.

Hi All,

Well onto another project and I have been wanting to do this for a very long time and decided to start it. I will be doing this over the next two months in between other projects and hopefully have it complete before a show that will be happening in July.

I will be doing a partial Falcon like the one in the link which Attakus did, I want to do the interior but depending on time I might have to delay it till after the show.
http://cdn.shopify.com/s/files/1/0744/5517/products/ATTAKUS_11_large.jpg?v=1439496622

The template is just shy under 2 meters long which I think is a good length. The length is from the edge of the wardrobe which is where the upper and lower engine shields will go to the tip of the template.
