Hi All,

Doing a small dio with a Jawa scrounging thru is finds.

The Jawa was made using a madelman figure and I cut off the legs at the knees and re-attached the feet. I cut the arms off at the forearms and drilled holes and used hands from the Funko Fallout 4 power armour suit.

I used an old head from the bits box and cut the ears and nose off and then used black cloth to cover the head. The robes was made using some old material I had and I gave it two washes of flat brown, I also used some thinner cloth to make his vest.

I still have to do the eyes and make his bandolier and gun and make the base.

Hi All,

The Jawa dio is almost complete I just have to weather the base/figures/equipment.

The Jawa's eyes were done by using small joint connectors and cut them in half.  The weapon was done by using the pistol from the Bandai Stormtrooper and then I cut the scope off and the barrel was done using plasti card and the cord is just old computer cable.

The harness was made using leather and cutting out the desired shape and the pouches are from a Marvel figure. The droids I built ages ago and have been waiting for a dio to put them on, the machine gun is from the Bandai Sandtrooper and the junk on the ground are pieces of an old 1/6 machine gun.

The crates were done using plasti card and the tarp is some old material just was glued done then painted.

Hi All,

The Jawa dio is complete and I will get my usual pics the next day or two.

Until then I have jumped straight into another dio and this one will be called TATOOINE PATROL, it will depicted 5-6 Sandtroopers just walking along doing a patrol.

The moisture vaporator was done the same way as the one I did for Droid Search. I used plumbers connectors and plasti card and greeblies for the parts box. The sand is a 50/40/10 mix of Sand/plaster/paint, I have to paint the sand to make it more natural as the two different colours due to me not stirring the paint in enough.

Mythos Vader rendition is really cool. I like the Sideshow original, except the orange over-spray which was a tad exaggerated. On yours it looks just fine, SSC should have done it like this not how they did it on their statue.

Hi All,

Not much of a update for the Tatooine Patrol, I just got my old probe droid that I built back in 2014 and I removed the arms and repositioned them and gave it two coats of German Grey and have started adding chipping to it.
