Hi All,

Just a little update, I have been busy at work so the dio wasn't getting much attention over the last few days but now I'm a weeks leave I will be able to get cracking back into it.

The hull section has had blast marks added from small and heavy weapons fire, I still have to detail the blast area's and then add more scorch detailing as well.

the weapons section is now done I have now added the helmets  and the cliff has had a coat of matt black then a coat of brown sand and then the burnt sienna added to it and know to start doing the detailing to it.

The cliff is done.

Pic 1 - I gave the cliff a wash of Vallejo's Desert Yellow.

Pic 2 - I than gave it a wash of Vallejo's Brown Sand.

Pic 3 - I then gave it two washes of Games Workshop Skrag Brown.

Pic 4 - While the GW Skrag Brown washes were still damp I gave it a wash of Vallejo's Iraqui Sand and lightly washes the two together to get the final look.

Cheers Shawn, I stuffed up the colouring as it should have been more sand colours but I have now rectified that and will have pics soon.

Hi All,

This dio is set on Jakku when all the battles are taking place and this particular area is the Goazon Badlands. I had to totally redo the stone colouring as the reddish/colours weren't right.

The first pic shows the colour which is from SW Battlefront.

2nd pic I had to repaint the cliff with Vallejo's Iraqui Sand and then I gave it two washes of Vallejo's Pale Sand.

3rd pic I then gave it three washes of Vallejo's Beige Brown and then a wash of Vallejo's Medium Grey and last two washes of Vallejo's black to tone the colours down.

Hey CC, yeah I did like the colour before especially if it was Tatooine but for this area I'm doing your right the colour is better.

the shuttle hull is 95% done I just need to add the repelling lines and once the figures are done I just need to weather it.

The base itself just needs the ground work and figures added and a little bit of debri
