But what a fantastic figure and dio, Ron! The shape of the helmet and the backpack is stunning! I haven't played the latest Battlefront, yet, but this scenery looks excellent - as always!

Hey Philipp, cheers buddy and it is a great game for sure, the only problem I have is getting killed when I stop in the game to look at something that I think would look as a dio LOL.

Hi All,

New commission piece started for a friend and this will be the facade of Kenobi's house on Tatooine. The house will be pretty weathered as per the first pic with room for Luke's speeder and figures.

So far the base and front of the house was done using high denisty foam, I still have some sanding to do before the texturing is started.

This looks like another great project! What a great idea - Ben's house is a wonderful scenery to depict (and yes I know I sound like the Pool-Master Anthony Archer-Wills and I also like grasshoppers )
I will follow your progress and am looking forward to seeing it completed!

LOL thanks Philipp and your right it is a great piece of scenery even thou you don't get to see much of the exterior in the movie it still is very iconic.

Hi All,

More work done on Kenobi's house front.

The first pic shows indentations which were done using a piece of sandstone. I use this method for two reasons, 1 - it helps the spakfilla adhere better and 2 when applying the spakfilla it won't be all even thru the walls.

The second pic shows the spakfilla applied and in some area's I used a lightly damp baby wipe and dapped over the areas I wanted smoother then the others.

The third pic shows the first a wash using AK interactive's Track wash and appiled this unevenly so when the drybrushing starts it will give different worn effects on the exposed area's.

Hi All,

More work done to Kenobi's home.

I have given the house two washes of Vallejo's Beige Brown and once dry the first coat of white wash has been applied and will get about another two coats.
