Hi All,

I have added the ground work and this is going to be off a sandy rocky terrian instead of sand and this was done by using a 35/35/30 mix of spakfilla/kitty/sand.

I then mixed all the ingredients together then small amounts of water were added until all the ingredients were mixed completely together.

I then scoured the foam using a model knife and then spread PVA glue over the foam to allow the mix to adhere better. Once the mix was applied and was dry I then painted it with Vallejo Dark Brown and I will now start to add the weathering to it.

I also toned down the brown wall sections with Vallejo Beige Brown and once dry the final orange/red will be appilied before weathering.

Hi All,

I have completed Kenobi's house and I added a door by using foamboard and plastic card.

I am now doing the concept Kenobi for the client and I have used cloth goods and still need to adjust and paint and dye the clothes and then paint Kenobi and the greeblies

Ron.

Hi All,

Got a 1:6 Bandai Stormtrooper for xmas and decided to do a simple Endor dio with him.

Recipe

Trooper - as mentioned is from Bandai and is built straight out of the box and I covered the joints using black stockings and painted and weathered him using Vallejo Paints and Pastel Chalks.

Base - is three Bandai bases glued together and then a balsa wood frame added. The ground work is a mix of lichen moss, sand, real dirt, ground up leaves, small thin sticks and static grass.

Once the ground mix is glued in place and then dried I use watered down Vallejo Chocalate Brown and add this to the ground mix.

The tufts of grass are from Army Painter, the four leaf clover type plants and the yellow/green plants are from JOEFIX Studio and the ferns are from a the fake plant section at my local craft store.

Hi All,

I completed the concept Kenobi and house facade a few days before xmas and forgot to upload the pics.

Kenobi as mentioned in previous pics is from Hasbro and I removed the lower robes and added a Farmboy Luke top and vest and pants from a Madelman figure I have had lying in the parts box.

The walking stick is made using balsa wood, the necklace is some 1/72 wire tow cable from a German WW2 tank and the medallion is a piece of plastic.

The goggles are made from clear plastic and the strap is a thin piece of leather. The gun, holster and belt are from different 6" BS serious figures.

I also added the saber clip from the figure and made a new hook clamp for the saber from thin wire so it would attach easier to the hook, I then painted his face nad hands using Vallejo paints.
