That's a great dio, Ron. You captured the "action" really well with Kenobi's stance. Excellent job!

Ron, I just love your work of art! These double-sided dios are just so cool and very inspiring! At the end of December these rotating display plates came to my mind after a long time, again. I found two of them for 13 bucks on Amazon and I might buy them. Do your Death Star Dioramas rotate, too?

The attention to detail and accuracy is always amazing. You depicted three of the most iconic scenes of STAR WARS there...they're just fantastic to look at!
Since I grew up with the Prequels the first thing I thought of when I read Obi-Wan vs. Vader was the Battle on Mustafar. Have you built this scene as well, yet?
I really like the poses you put the figures in before securing the joints. Especially Obi, Darth and Han look fantastic - just like in the movie!
I need to catch up a bit once again...

Remember when you started this new thread in 2015 because the first one was 63 pages long? And now look where this thread has come to...page 137 and almost 200,000 views!

Are you going to add a table of content on page 1? I did this to maintain a good overview, although I doubt I will ever reach 100 pages per thread in this life...

Thanks for sharing, have a great new year, stay happy & healthy and keep up the phenomenal work, please!

Hey Philipp,

Thanks heaps buddy and really glad you like the builds and as for a content section on the first page I'll have a look at what I can do as it is a great idea.

The DS dios with Han, Chewie etc is mounted on a electric turntable which is awesome as you can put it into a corner and when you want to view it as you know you just switch it on. I will be doing more dios with the turntables in the near future.

Yeah I remember the first thread and I thought 63 pages was long LOL, I will more then likely go to 200 on this one if it gets to that and start another new thread.

I haven't done a Kenobi and Vader Mustafa dio before but I think it would be very cool to do it and have a two sided dio with the Mustafa battle on one side and the DS scene on the other.

Thanks so much mate and I was amazed how well the clear contact worked for the floor especially this size floor. I have used clear contact on smaller dio's and it works great and I wasn't to sure how well it would go but once it was applied and smoothed out I was very happy with the result.

Hi All,

New SW dio started and this one is going to be two Range Troopers on top of the train from Solo.
The top of the train was done using foam board and plastic card and just needs to be painted and weathered.

The troopers are from Hasbo's BS 6" line. I have glued the legs joints together and will keep the wait, arms and head articulated so that they can be put into different upper body poses and they will be painted and weathered after I do the train section.

Already looks great to me Ron. Sad to admit that I just finally rewatched Solo over the holidays. I like it almost as good as Rogue One. Off to share.

Nice! I like how the Conveyex is shaping up. Will be excited to see the final version. I really enjoyed the film, too. It got caught in an unfortunate backlash, but made for a great space Western - gamblers, train heist, "natives", pretty fun.

Hi All,

Range Trooper dio complete.
Recipe.

Troopers - are from Hasbro's BS 6" line and I have repainted, weathered them with Vallejo Paints and gave them a wash with GW Agrax Earthshade. The fur on the shoulders were dipped in diluted GW Agrax Earthshade and once dry they were dry brushed with Vallejo's flat white.

Base - is made is foam board and the small details are done using plastic card and a plastic 1/35 scale part. It was painted and weathered using Vallejo paints.
