Hi guys, I've been really busy in real life lately due to a future job change on my part (in December), so I didn't really have time for a lot the last weeks. Now, as I'm comfortably sitting in a train on the way home, how to better spend the time with a nice and big update... ;)

I was able to do some more additions to my Vintage Collection lineup, here they are:

VINTAGE COLLECTION

Seven more cards were finished after my last update, four updates of classic cards and a few "new" ones. This also means I now have finished more than half of my goal of updating the 52 missing Kenner figures...28 down, 24 to go...  ;D

The updates are Warok, Teebo, Boushh and Artoo (pop-up lightsaber), though I've actually kind of done two cards for the latter - one version of Artoo uses the pic from the vintage POTF cardback, the other one the designation and figure... ;)









And here are the additional customs...









LEGENDS

As a lover of all things Imperial, I always wanted to do a card for a 181st TIE Interceptor pilot. It's a composite of several elements and I'm quite happy with the end result:

That trailer gets to me every time...and I really love the musical score they've done for the teasers/trailers so far... All in all, I'm really looking forward to RO, so I'm going to be doing a new line of Vintage collection cards for the new Rogue One figures.  ;D

So far I've designed 12 of 15 of the figures I want to do for the first wave, here are the first proofs I've done of two cards as well as the new reverse side:

Had to do an extra post on the Rogue One Cardbacks. Those are gonna look great. I just shake me head when I see them not use this style for Star Wars Action Figures period.

IMO there should only be star wars action figures on vintage style cardbacks period. period. period!

Thanks so much everyone, especially for the front page feature, Tamer! :D

Sorry for my current lack of constant updates, but so many things are going on simultaneously at the time that it's hard for me to keep up... ;)

I've started recarding the first batch of Rogue One figures. I have six cards finished so far for the first wave of single and 2-Pack-figures....here are numbers #01 to #03:


#01 - Sergeant Jyn Erso (Eadu)



Jyn hasn't been modified, but I did give here an E-11 to match the pic. Also the respiratory unit bugged me, because it's cast in a single piece of transparent plastic, complete with hose, head straps and bottle...so I wanted to correct that. Things kind of escalated after I started painting pieces of it, so the end result was a full repaint... ;)


#02 - K-2SO (Kay-Tuesso)



I was pretty happy with the big guy (and fortunately he fit into the blister, too ;) ), only did minimal touch-ups on the eyes.


#03 - Imperial Stormtrooper



I adore the new helmet sculpt, I think it's the best Hasbro's done so far. Now if only the joints were more articulated... ;) I did repaint some areas of him, the belly buttons have been painted as well as some parts of the helmet and the E-11 (for a more metallic appearance).

These are so cool. Man, what I wouldn't have given for them (Hasbro) to launch the Rogue One Figure Line like this. Your Jyn looks so much better than the stock figure too. Awesome update. I am off to share them all. HO HUM HASBRO!

  Cool cards! Personally I like the stormtrooper one. You're right the r1 stormy is missing some paint apps, but you did great adding details to all the figures. Excellent.

Your cardwork is really cool.
I don't collect carded, but this iconic packaging is part of the Star Wars action figure experience and a well-made cardback is half the sale of a figure.
