Been there, done that (regarding the design). I'm still missing the figure, that's why I couldn't complete it yet.....the AT-ACT is still prohibitively expensive here in Germany (350+ USD), so I'm still waiting for my chance to score it for a (more) reasonable price...

For the Empire! There've been just so many cool and iconic new Stormtrooper pics for Rogue One, so I didn't want to use just one of those... The jungle pic is a variant of my #03 Stormtrooper, I did a separate designation for the Jedha Stormtrooper because of the different Blaster rifle.

Hasbro 3,75" figures (details repainted) on my custom Vintage Collection cardbacks for Rogue One.

Thanks Artie! A few months ago I'd have agreed in regards to super-articulation...now however I have to say I'm quite satisfied with the current sculpts (even if only 5POA), so I'm not that focused on SA figures anymore. That...and I just don't have enough time to customize all of those from 5POA to SA...lol

I got hold of a single head cast a few months ago, always wanted to use it to as a small homage to   this specific cameo... I think the sculpt is quite good, actually...



I'm only missing one figure now...Luke (of course). Currently sourcing some material, hoping to have it done soon...so I can then call TFA "done" and move on to other things....already preparing for the 40th anniversary of SW at the moment, for example...

Hi everyone, I noticed today that a lot of pics in the thread were broken since the links hadn't been updated. I just went through all the pages, almost all the pics should be restored now...

Also, here's something new, I'm currently finishing a few more figures...

I used the regular Black Series Hasbro figure, but I replaced the soft goods for the ones from the POTF Princess Leia collection figure...they're really nice and shiny...

The Vintage Collection will return spring 2018....  I watched the reveal on a livestream yesterday, got goosebumps watching this.

So....this means I will stop producing custom cards, since Hasbro's stepping in again.
....lol, just joking of course. I'm honestly happy that more Vintage Collection is coming - and I'm certain there'll be lots of room for more cool customs...

I'm currently going through the OT again and completing more customs...ANH was last, so next up is ESB.

It always struck me as odd that Kenner reissued figures with the subsequent movies, but kept the same picture as the first release. So - here's an ESB Stormtrooper with an ESB pic...

Very nice work on ANH Leia (Ceremony) and the ESB Stormtrooper!! They look excellent as always!

I am also celebrating the return of the Vintage Collection next year and hope they will be of the same quality as they were when the line stopped in 2012...at the start of the Black Series there was some significant difference in quality (paint apps, packaging/blisters, sculpts, variety...!). You probably all know what I mean...

The thing I celebrate most is your design of Rey (Jakku Scavenger) on Vintage Card! This is a direct comparison of your pieces of art compared to what Hasbro does (some years later...). I am glad Hasbro woke up...finally Disney let them...
