WOW! WHAT!?! Was my first reaction when I saw your new troops! Hadn't left a comment on Bacara, yet. Thought he was 6 inch. Well, I think you created the ultimate 3.75" Commander Bacara! And all those 3D printed parts look fierce on his Marines.
What an update Sir! Really enjoy the softgoods skirt - no freying, perfect color and fit!
Well done!
I'm off to play SWBF II, again. Byeee!
Thanks! More will be on the way. I've planned for a marine medic, two M3 Bulwark Blast Shield troopers, a sniper, and finally an anti-tank expert who uses RPS-6 rocket launchers.
Each one of those will have the same fabric Kamas and 3d printed equipment.
Nice. I think Galactic Marines are my favorite forms of Clone Troopers.
Off to share.
Definitely same here! They are the roughest and toughest forces the G.A.R. had during the war. If you read into the Battle of New Bornalex, the marines were issued prototype power armor, greatly enhancing their strength. Halfway through the battle the armor frames malfunctioned. Nevertheless, the Galactic Marines fought on, literally tearing their enemies apart with the enhanced strength granted to them by their power armor. This engagement gave the Galactic Marines a fierce reputation.
They look great! Poseable possibilities perfection!
Thanks! There's only a little bit to improve upon, but I'm happy with how they turn out. Each skirt, I get a little better at modifying them.
Those turned out really well. I like the design elements that fit each trooper's specialization. Great job!
I feel that the roles are critical to unit cohesion. Combined arms tactics are what are utilized for our modern military. I feel, in particular, the clone army, was the best at this. More so than any other SW faction. Their equipment was made/married to each other at all levels. From AT-RTs fitting inside AT-TEs, which could be transported into battle by LAAT/c's for rapid deployment.
This is what my squad roles are based upon:
Fantastic! I prefer the soft goods on certain figures. These especially. You can get them in more dynamic poses. Great work!
The articulation on these were not originally bad, but greatly hindered by the plastic Kama. With the fabric ones you get a whole new range of movement.
